International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) communicates timely updates on national immigration-related developments that may affect international students and scholars. We closely monitor government policy changes and announcements, and will communicate any guidance that could impact our University community.  Please check this page regularly for the most current information. 

UT Austin students and scholars with questions about recent updates are encouraged to schedule an appointment with an ISSS advisor.  ISSS can advise international students and scholars with UT Austin-issued documents and employees whose visas are sponsored by the University. For individuals who fall outside of these categories, we recommend consulting an immigration attorney for personalized advice.
